Carter grew up in the small town of Foreston, Minnesota on a small hobby farm. Growing up he enjoyed work on the farm and helping out, but when he was still fairly young his family ended up selling the farm. In high school Carter worked on a neighbors dairy farm for four years and has also been involved with his local 4-H chapter since he was only in sixth grade. Carter enjoys playing sports with the guys when he can, but most of all enjoys spending time with his brothers in the house.
